I am drawn to eyes
pulled in by them
This is how I know someone:
by their eyes
their eyes
their eyes
. . .
Life and writing, serious and humorous, old and young, past and present: it's all part of the fabric.
“Maybe we’re here only to say: house, bridge, well, gate, jug, olive-tree, window--at most, pillar, tower--but to say them, remember, oh! to say them in a way that the things themselves never dreamed of so intensely.” --Rilke
So beautiful poem, so adorable eyes...
ReplyDeleteI agree with your words, I use to say "the eyes are like doors to the soul..."

Eyes cannot tell a lie. So much expression and truth is shown in the eyes.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all these sentiments! The eyes have it! How did you frame the photograph?
ReplyDeleteSo true. When I read this I immediately thought of my husband. When he smiles, his eyes are the best thing in the world.
ReplyDeleteI'm drawn to this image this morning. The eyes are the windows...
ReplyDeletethe 'eyes' have 'it' for sure.
ReplyDeleteLib. Jewel: Cropped the photo and then chose 'vignette' from 'effects' in iPhoto.
ReplyDeleteI like your processing on this one.
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool that the eyes and your words come together to make and a face. Underneath the photo, I see the shape of a nose, a smile, and a long chin.
ReplyDeleteInteresting comment by Denise. . .
ReplyDeleteNaturally inquisitive—the beautiful eyes in this post.
My daughter's eyes are very light blue and they dance and sparkle. My son's eyes are green and so incredibly deep and soulful. Funny how different they can be. I can read their thoughts through their eyes!
ReplyDeleteThese are very hypnotic eyes..I also love the dog's eyes beyond, so clever.
ReplyDeleteIn french we say that eyes are doors of the soul..so true!
