International Dot Day

International Dot Day grew out of Peter Reynolds' book, The Dot.

On International Dot Day, September 15,

you are encouraged to make your mark

by starting, simply, with a dot

and then seeing where that takes you

and then signing

your dot

or your dot explosion!

See Fablevision here for more information

and for clips of students celebrating Dot Day

and then see here for librarian Mr. Schu's blog about Dot Day

. . .

and then, you know,

go make your mark,

mm?

You don't have to wait
until September 15,
mm?

A Dot and a Dash

I'm dashing off to NYC for a few days

but am leaving you with

this colorful dot

I made it for

International Dot Day

last year

and when I return

I'll give you information

about how to add your own dot

to this year's Dot Day

(September)

Meanwhile,

ciao, bellas,

xx
