Reflections

Inside and Outside
in Maine

Sometimes
I need to take a break from
words.

If I tried to describe this photo
I would ruin it.

Order Amid the Chaos

You wouldn't know
that on the perimeter
of this calm scene
are towers of
boxes
boxes
boxes
boxes

Boxes
I tell ya:
millions of boxes.

Reflections on Reflections

Is the person in the mirror you or a reflection of you? Is the character in the book a reflection of the author? And which is more 'real': the person/character or the reflection?

Well. I've been thinking about reflections lately.

Maybe those musings will be reflected in the upcoming book (in 2012.)

You are real . . .aren't you?

Reflections

Winter's late afternoon light streams in all the windows and makes the rooms glow.  I'm always trying to capture that light.  After I'm long gone, someone will come across dozens of photos of light-on-walls and perhaps wonder why on earth I'd take all those 'empty' shots.  Empty? Maybe I'll be the shadow in the room.
