Reflections on Reflections
Is the person in the mirror you or a reflection of you? Is the character in the book a reflection of the author? And which is more 'real': the person/character or the reflection?
Well. I've been thinking about reflections lately.
Maybe those musings will be reflected in the upcoming book (in 2012.)
You are real . . .aren't you?

I am real! You have me pegged. You betcha! I think you are reflected in your writing. You write from what you know and have a personality or style that can't help but come out. It would take a strong effort to not include the personal things.
ReplyDeleteOh you are toying with us...when will your book be on the shelves? I am making a list of guesses for the title. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am most definitely not real. Only a purring avatar. But such a content little cyber-kitty.
ReplyDeleteI am most definitely real... I think. However at times, I'm certainly becoming curiouser and curiouser.
ReplyDeleteHeading this way this summer? When? Where?
The word "reflection" itself is thought-provoking...it has so many meanings and facets. I think it's wonderful how stories are a reflection of the author, but also a place for readers to find a reflection of themselves.
ReplyDeleteI'm so looking forward to your next book! Does 2012 seem far away, or do you still have many deadlines to meet?
Some say our real life is in our dreams.I think I'm real, but how to be sure? maybe I'm only someone's else dream..
ReplyDeleteThey are all very real but in their own dimension. The one that is most real becomes apparent as the plot develops. : )
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are beautiful!I'm always thinking of reflections as well.I like a lot the lines in the first composition!

Nothing to do with reality and reflections, but I just wanted to say I love your odd little mirror that's shaped like a church window. Is there a story behind it?
ReplyDeleteK.T. I don't know the story behind the 'church' mirror–only that I found it in a Southport, NC, shop.
ReplyDeleteFaith: 2012 seems far away, yes.
