Settling In

Beginning to feel 'official':
have license plates and driver's license!

Zipping down the 'to do' list, changing:
health/auto/home insurance
doctor, dentist
address
email
phone
internet server
utility companies
yada yada

(half of those to be done again
in the spring when we move
to more permanent quarters
but still here in Maine)

But in the midst of to-doing
have the chance to
bake a pie with granddaughter

and that is yummmmmm.

You bake anything this week?
With anyone?

xx

  2. The pie looks scrumptuous, Sharon. Good luck with all the changes. I've never been to Maine but hope to visit some day.

  3. Yes. It just so happens that I baked a lobster pot pie shipped directly from Maine earlier this week. Yum! To think that you will be able to enjoy all of the lobster pot pies that you desire. . .

    Nice license plates!

  9. My list looks very like yours! We managed to register to vote right before the election and had the thrilling experience of filling out real paper ballots at our tiny town hall.

But now back to car tags, drivers licenses, new bank accounts, and getting lost down strange and wonderful roads.

I wish you many grand adventures in your new home! How lucky for the Owl and Turtle bookshop to get to have you nearby! I also dearly love the Maine Coast Book Shop in Damariscotta! (pies and book shops mixed in with moving logistics!).
