Life and writing, serious and humorous, old and young, past and present: it's all part of the fabric.
“Maybe we’re here only to say: house, bridge, well, gate, jug, olive-tree, window--at most, pillar, tower--but to say them, remember, oh! to say them in a way that the things themselves never dreamed of so intensely.” --Rilke
Its a big nut however !
ReplyDeleteThat's a very big nut for a very little mouth. I hope he managed to get it stored away. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteWe have billions of English walnuts and the chipmunks have been having a field day. So far we are sunny a low 30s...but no snow. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cute picture!
ReplyDeleteEither he's a little squirrel or that's one gigantic nut. Good for him/her.
ReplyDeleteClever guy, he probably heard about the approaching snow!
ReplyDeleteHow I love squirrels. I hope he is able to find all he will need.
ReplyDeleteI hope that one will last him for a while.
ReplyDeleteYou could send a few squirrels down here...we'll have acorns galore through the spring. Your squirrels are different...ours are gray. Dull. But they're still cute.
ReplyDeleteHow's the writing going?
Awww..... little guy!
ReplyDeleteI wish him luck, he's awfully cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon...thanks for your comment on The Villages. The day I took that photo there must have been 50 plus of these things wandering about...mostly together. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThat one nut alone could feed a family of squirrels for a month!
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Sharon. You always have a way of making me feel good!
ReplyDeleteInteresting...
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Re your comments about Cody's...we have one of these restaurants in Ocala, also. Have only eaten there once, but it was good. The one in The Villages is generally crowded...it's a fun place without being too boisterous...
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have then around. Lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
That's a HUGE nut! Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
ReplyDelete"squirrel" (Ecureil)et le nom d'une banque en France, pas la plus économe... lol
ReplyDelete"Ecureuil" (squirrel) and the name of a bank in France, not the most efficient ..
Darling photo, Sharon. We have a huge hazel tree that we never get any nuts from – oh, there are plenty, but the squirrels and jays beat us to it every year! Have a lovely weekend. – g
ReplyDeleteWe'll never know what to expect anymore. This year we had a tremendous nutty display from all the oaks. Giant acorns carpet the street. The squirrels have taken up bowling on my roof.
ReplyDeleteOur walnut tree had a bumper crop, and we have a yard full of fat squirrels.
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, I just noticed that you posted a comment on my 365 blog and I wanted to come by and say thanks. It is always fun to meet new bloggers! Now if I could just get back into the swing of blogging. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
very few pecans this year too- those squirrels destroyed any that we had and they ended up on the ground in bits and pieces!
