Winter in Maine

Yes, it's cold in Maine
but
people know how to
take advantage of winter.

Dressed in layers
they celebrate the ice
the blue sky

and
ice skating
beside the harbor.

This is Saturday
at the library
in Camden, Maine.

  1. Beautiful! You, too, seem to be celebrating winter in Camden, Maine! On New Year's Day, from the town landing in Camden, we watched sledders going down the library hill. J was worried they were going to go right into the water!

  4. Ice, cold, snow, are beautyful under blue sky, and certainly easier to endure!

  6. I love the quiet splendor of the winter months. Glorious sun-filled days, perfect for ice sculpting.
