Other Writers' Blogs and Websites

I love to hear what other writers have to say on their blogs and websites.  Every now and then I'll highlight some here.

For today, here are three writers whose works I admire and who offer thoughtful, interesting, insightful posts on writing and life. (Click on their names for links.)

Karen Hesse's blog is new. She and I both like to offer you photos with our words . . . or words with our photos. . .  Safekeeping is her newest book, due out mid-September, and it's another Hesse gem.

Clicking on her name above leads you to Kate's official Facebook page, containing touching bloggish posts. She has another lively Bink & Golly book out, Two for One. Try her website, too.

Clicking on her name (above) leads you to her website, but also check out her Facebook page, with its nice bloggish posts. Her newest book, Will Sparrow's Road, will be published in November.

Love these writers!

xx

  3. They are wonderful writers. I bought "Because of Winn-Dixie" for my granddaughter several years ago. She quickly informed me that she had already read it. No problem. I have two younger granddaughters who like to read.

An observation: All three authors have a first name that starts with the initial K, and two of them are named Karen. I like that. :-)

    1. I must be partial to K's . . . esp. to Karen/Karins (daughter's name is Karin.)

  5. Thanks for alerting me to the new Hesse site. I've been wondering what she was up to. I did NOT know of it. She'll pay for this, you know! hahahaha tsk, tsk, tsk...

  6. I'm glad you've promoted these, Sharon. I have loved Karen Cushman's entries for years; she writes with such honesty and wit. Kate's FB posts are insightful and intriguing. And, as you know, Karen Hesse's blog is close to my heart.

  7. Thanks for the shout out, Sharon. I am being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century, but I may make it yet.
