Nibbles

Writer fuel, carefully spaced:  dark chocolate . . . cinnamon candy. . .

Also carefully spaced:  walnuts, almonds, and clementines . . .

Can't work without 'em . . .

You?

  2. If I buy almonds, we can't leave them alone...love clementines and always have a big bowl of fruit on the kitchen table. We are also into yogurt with granola for breakfast, dessert or whatever. I try not to make any desserts unless we have company...to easy to pick away at them.

When do you return to the "north?" Friday (weather permitting) 6 of us are going to Jamestown to the Reg Lenna Civic Center for an interactive drumming workshop. Your neck of the woods.

  3. Oh, please don't get me started on nibbles! But my favorite is peanuts, preferably raw (it's a Southern thing).

  7. Hooked on Clementines. Love almonds. And then, um, Goldfish crackers.

  8. coffee and jellybeans. revising makes me a compulsive sugar-fiend.

  9. I've got grape licorice in my stash drawer right now. And dried apricots. The licorice is a little strange but it keeps me at my desk rather than roaming the house, looking for something to stop the gnawing in my stomach at 10:30 AM.

  10. I don't snack while I'm writing because I'm a neat freak. I don't want greasy or juicy fingers on my notebook and laptop! But when I need a snack, I take a break with clementines or milk chocolate or raisins. Yumyum!

ironically, they are really great at unfreezing my brain.
