at the Farnsworth Museum
in Rockland, Maine. . .
This ties in with their current

Makes you smile, mm?

Life and writing, serious and humorous, old and young, past and present: it's all part of the fabric.
“Maybe we’re here only to say: house, bridge, well, gate, jug, olive-tree, window--at most, pillar, tower--but to say them, remember, oh! to say them in a way that the things themselves never dreamed of so intensely.” --Rilke
I do like it :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! :o) Which one did you choose, good or wicked?!
ReplyDeleteWicked, of course. :))
DeleteOh, how wonderful! Given the choice, I'd use the door of WICKED.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. :))
DeleteI AM looking forward to checking it out! Now, who is your favorite character? And/or can you guess mine?
ReplyDeleteHmm, I guess Dorothy is my favorite character, but I haven't read the book or seen the movie in a long, long time. No idea who your fav. character is! Hint?
DeleteI love this! I'd choose "wicked."
ReplyDeleteYes! Love these doors. I wonder who Rita's favorite is. Having never loved the movie, I can say I do not have a favorite.
ReplyDeleteIt always gave me a certain chill when that lion jumped outta the woods. The Cowardly Lion was a favorite.

Love....in third grade I started the year reading Wizard of Oz because of the vocabulary and the kid loved it. (Would not have been my first choice until I saw their reaction....)anyhow I always loved how they would figure out how wise Scarecrow was and how kind TinMan was.......eventually. Must check out this museum in the summer, wonder what they will have in store then!
