The Boy on the Porch: first look


Whoah!
This really surprised me:
the arrival today of an 
advance reader's copy 
(ARC)
of 
THE BOY ON THE PORCH
!

It will be published in September.
I wasn't expecting an advance copy
so soon.

But here it is, a gift.
It's a book.
No longer sheets of paper
marked with corrections.
A book.

I'd better go read it.
Hope it's good.

    What you hold in your hands... is this the final copy or might changes still be made? Was this all written in western NY? What's your plan for ME? hahahaha

      Birdmanerino- changes and corrections can still be made, and yes it was all written in western NY. As for Maine, ahhhhh, I am still soaking up the vibes . . . :))

    It must be such a thrill for a writer to discover what (s)he has written as a book..The moment where it really leaves you to become a public thing?..
