I finished a book
in which a boy loves a cow

not knowing that soon
my granddaughter would
love cows, too.

Cows.
Mm.

  1. Oh!! Cow & Girl, what a lucky girl she is to be living this good country life! I wanted to tell you that I just did a post on "The Ideal Bookshelf". Even though Walk Two Moons & The Unfinished Angel weren't in my photo, they are 2 of the most important books that I've read...

  2. Cows. Liam (my seven year old) went through a phase that cows were all he talked about. He called them "cowies" and whenever we would drive anywhere he'd shout when he saw them. In rural Illinois, that was often. Soft spot in my heart for those beautiful animals.

  3. Les vaches ont ce regard attendrissant qu'il est bien difficile de ne pas aimer. Je comprends aisément votre petite-fille.
Merci pour l'ensemble de vos photos, certaines sont même très émouvantes.
    Gros bisous à vous.

  6. You can add me on the list of people who love cows! I grew up on a farm were there were cows, and I always loved them. Living in a city now, I must say that I miss them sometimes.. Do you know that one of the most famous XIXth century's french writers is Emile ZOLA ?!
