High on a hill
between Camden and Rockport, Maine
stands this non-denominational
Children's Chapel
a coveted site
for weddings, gatherings
celebrations
and
contemplation
From here:
wishing you all a
Happeeeee Thanksgiving.
How will you spend the day?
xx
I spent two summers in Camden twenty years ago studying the harp. That chapel remains one of my favorite places along that coast. What a wonderful location to reflect on all we can be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI like that it is called a Children's Chapel. Awesome views. Happy Thanksgiving to you too : )
ReplyDeleteI could spend countless hours there. The peacefulness of the chapel can be felt simply by looking at your photo. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTraditions have shifted in recent years. Thanksgivings were always about big dinners and family but things have evolved, not as much family available. My husband, mother, and I will be enjoying a grand Thanksgiving buffet offered at one of the country clubs. We liked it last year and decided it was worth enjoying two years in a row. I will still be making my pumpkin pie, my families favorite holiday dessert.
Happy Thanksgiving!
... south of home. You in Maine; me elsewhere. Our roads lead us in all directions. Happy Turkey Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you too! I will take a look at your new book. :)

ReplyDeleteSo much to be thankful for!
Just discovered your blog, will put it in my favorites.
