We're winding down from
Creech Week
here at the lake
an annual 'normal chaos' gathering
of family
smaller in number of people this year
but
more dog guests.
We laughed a very lot.

Life and writing, serious and humorous, old and young, past and present: it's all part of the fabric.
“Maybe we’re here only to say: house, bridge, well, gate, jug, olive-tree, window--at most, pillar, tower--but to say them, remember, oh! to say them in a way that the things themselves never dreamed of so intensely.” --Rilke
What a wonderful time you must all enjoy together! Were there more than four dogs? That is chaos without the human additions.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you survived and I'll bet the dogs had a great time too. You have the perfect spot for all that activity.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it was a hot week too. The lake musta been fun, fun, fun!
ReplyDeletethen is the family going to the dogs?
ReplyDeleteDid ALL of the dog guests take up residence in the Creech home? And did a rubber bone toss determine who got the bed(s)?
ReplyDeleteLooks like my kind of fun
