Something so simple
transforms
into
something so elegant
if you swirl it about
in your mind
and offer it up
as a gift

Life and writing, serious and humorous, old and young, past and present: it's all part of the fabric.
“Maybe we’re here only to say: house, bridge, well, gate, jug, olive-tree, window--at most, pillar, tower--but to say them, remember, oh! to say them in a way that the things themselves never dreamed of so intensely.” --Rilke
Beautiful! There's a bit of uneasiness in the second one, as if there is some resistance.
ReplyDeleteI must add that I think the second orb is the most interesting. It draws you in, makes you look deeper, harder; as if you're peeking into its soul. But caution is advised.
ReplyDeleteYes - in that one, I see a keyhole, and the red apples (as in Snow White) are there to lure you in . . . but . . .'caution is advised.'
DeleteExactly.
DeleteSharon, you are really good at this! All are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see them hanging on my walls! #3 is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love this effect on photos. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteSoulful blossoms in the midst of the cold. Thank you for the gift you make by sharing here. My favorite: the 3rd image. Delicate, artistic, harmonious, flowing nature! I'm looking at your quote on the right: "Remember to say them in a way that the things themselves never dreamed of so intensely..."
