Life and writing, serious and humorous, old and young, past and present: it's all part of the fabric.
“Maybe we’re here only to say: house, bridge, well, gate, jug, olive-tree, window--at most, pillar, tower--but to say them, remember, oh! to say them in a way that the things themselves never dreamed of so intensely.” --Rilke
Soon to follow: "Oh! I forgot about that."
ReplyDeleteBless your heart! Not a fun job!
ReplyDeleteTime has flown! Can't believe you are ready to move to your new home.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing you in it. You're both going to need a long nap every afternoon for a couple of weeks.
Well, that says it all!! Best wishes with all those Boxes boxes boxes!
ReplyDeleteNo reflection at all on your new lovely home, but seeing that photo made me think of Pete Seeger's refrain "little boxes, little boxes, little boxes in a row..." I wish you well in your home!! Myself, I have some boxes to unpack. We have just finished a kitchen remodel. The project is only truly over when the last box is put away...
ReplyDeleteSurest way to sort your friends. And family...
ReplyDeleteNo envy here.
We did this last summer. Getting it in the boxes and in the truck really is the hardest part. Good luck to you. May the move be smooth.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least I know what you'll be doing on your summer 'vacation' this year. Can you say unloading boxes? I know you can.
