Blog Hopping

A few times a week I go blog hopping: starting with one blog that I visit regularly, I read the day's comments and then click on one of the commentators and hop over to their blog.  From there, hop to another commentator's blog, and so on.  It's addictive, but so entertaining and inspiring.  Today I began in Vermont (above) and hopped to France and Luxembourg and Australia, etc., a great romp!

A few of the stops are pictured below:

I love the serendipity of what I discover.

Do YOU blog-hop?

  1. What a fun idea, Sharon! I'm sort of doing this today as I pull together a roundup post for our Ten Days of Thanks-Giving. You're right, though--it's quite addictive!

  2. "November unclasps her hair" is lovely at so many levels.

The blog world is like this vast stream we can dip our nets into. I guess people used to throw runes for this kind of inspiration. It's very fun. Still good to remember to go sit under the big tree, which I sometimes forget to do.

  3. Intriguing screen shots in this post. I especially like the next to the last image. . . brrrrr!

Yes, I do some blog-hopping. There are a lot of compelling blogs/sites on the Web. But then I encounter those that will not allow me to return to my original screen without closing the browser window. Best to stay within the realm of familiarity I guess.

Being the forthright person I am, I will admit to a bit of insecurity with all the "greatness" out there, including the blog world . But, despite that fact, I truly appreciate the creative diversity that exists. It is so inspiring.

  4. Absolutely! What's interesting to me, is how many times I find the same blog as a favorite. For example: Grey Horse Matters. Almost every horse blog I visit knows this blogger.

  7. Yes, I do the same thing. Jump from blog to blog and I also try to visit everyone that visits mine and leaves a comment. I really don't put up that many posts, just don't have the time right now. Thanks for stopping by.

  11. I got here because a 10 year old I met through BookPals, asked that we read your book, "Pleasing the Ghost" so we may discuss it via snail mail. I went to the library, ordered the book and the librarian suggested I read "Love that Dog" to the kids I read to on Wednesdays through BookPals. They LOVED it! I did too. I can't wait to read more. Thank you for writing!!

You are so kind, your heart is full of friendship and love!
This is a beautiful post indeed and thanks so much for your friendship and lovely words.
I also love blogging, but I'm concentrating all my energies now in my French studies. I miss my blog friends so much.
After all tests I hope to come back to blog frequently.
    big hugs to your heart,
a nice weekend, and thanks for all lovely inspirations here in your blog!
