One of the surprises
and joys
of our move to Maine
has been
the introduction to cows
(Belted Galloways)
through our granddaughter
and 4-H.
Today, a calf was born:

may have some

in it.

I love everything about this. Cows. I could stare at them all day. Those eyes. Those slow moves. The emotion that hides within their bellows. 4-H! I need to get my own kids involved. Thank you for this.

ReplyDeleteI've always thought that cows were cool. And I love the belted ones.They're like chickadees, pandas and giraffes. They all look the same. Just beautiful. Maybe sometime we'll take a ride up to see them! Enjoy the brrrrrr cold!!
